Intercooler size for T78

Im having a shop custom make me a fmic for my t78 and Im wondering if 25x9x3 is a good size core to go with. As far as lag time and cooling capabilities will this core be efficient for around 18psi when I go to the track?

You need to ask the shop that question. A lot of the intercooler's efficiency has to do with the construction as much as it does with the dimensions. The ducting is also important.
