what Garrett turbo can i compare the Innovative Gt70 too,and what do you guys think of this turbo.

i checked all over the forum and all i see is the T51 is bigger than the T70,correct me if i am wrong,I am running a T66 now and was wondering if it would make sense to change to a T70 BB.

 

which posts ? what do you mean by larger ?

If we go by what most people "think" about large turbos,
GT70 has 70mm inducer as well as T51RKai so power potential is similar. T51Rkai only comes with 1.00 A/R though and it is undivided vs lots of options for the GT70. They both flow around 80lbs/min of air and it should be good for 800rwhp.

 

so then go with the T70 and how much more power it would make as compared to a T66

 

First of all, why would you want to change ?

T66/T78 is already a relatively large turbo for 13B. Are you going drag racing ? Do you have a large street port, or maybe a BP ?
Anyway, go to innovativeturbo.com or turbonetics website, you'll find compressor maps for both T66 and T70. T70 flows about 10-15% more than T66.

 

Does the T51R kai have hardcore lag on a 13b?

my turbo s300 has the same wheel specs as t51 and I can make 22 pound by 4600 rpm
