cant get car started after t78 turbo conversion
hey everyone, just completed our turbo conversion, did everything. secondary injectors, fuel pressure regulator, turbo timer, fuel pump, turbo kit itself, boost controller, intercooler, got rid of all the emissions, radiator, and whatever else was there to do. We cant get the car started. Every and all suggestions, would be great. we checked the spark plugs and they are working properly. There is fuel going through the lines. So im clueless. we kept the primary injectors and rail, but changed the secondaries to 1600 cc with rail. we think that the primary injectors arent flowing. could this be? The car turns over , but doesnt start.
thanks in advance
adam

You might be flooded. What ecu are You using, and what map are You trying to start the car with? What is Your fuel press.? If Your flooded try the ATF thing, it worked for me when I could not get mine going after doing fuel and turbo changes.

Listen to the primary injectors when cranking, they should make a clicking noise if they are working. If you pull the plugs after unsucessful attempts to start you should smell fuel if the injectors are working and you have fuel pressure. May want to recheck all the harness connections as well as the harness condition, easy to have startup issues with a bad harness or a wrong connection.
If all else fails just tow it to KDR, they should be able to get it sorted.

yes, got it started now. it appeared to be flooded. took about 4 trys to get it started today, but now it starts everytime. im sure the fuel pressure and **** needs to be adjusted now, but i will leave it up to the experts at kdr. Also i will be puting skips anti detonation device on. I will report on my experiance with it after i drive it. i will be running 94 octane regardless of whether it is on.
