Unhappy im new, help me ~~~~~~~~~~~

hi everyone in this forum, im sorry that i dont speak english that well, but i will try my best to explain what my questions are, hope u guys can help me out here.
i just bought a 93 rx7 FD with about 87000m on the engine, and now my secondary turbo is gone, because my psi only go up to 5, so i want to replace it with a HKS T04R turbo kit, it comes with the turbo, maniford, and intake, after the installation it should be around 450hp, my friends told me that my engine cant afford that much of power, it will blow. im kinda scared, but i really want the T04R, because with the 5psi turbo i have now, a 90 eclips with a stock turbo smoked me 3days ago on my birthday night!!!! i almost cried..so what should i do?? anything i can add to my engine so it can take the new turbo?? and tell me some tips on how to drive fast from lights to lights races, i know im really stupid, but im a fast learner~~~~so please reply guys!!!thanx!!!

What makes you so sure your secondary turbo is gone? Here's a crazy idea, maybe you have a boost leak.

Here's assuming you don't have a boost leak.

Your engine (13B-REW) can take 400+ hp, but you need to do a few things to ensure reliability:

First, I'm not sure slapping a big turbo on a 87K mile engine is a good thing. Most people rebuild their engine before they go that route.

2nd, you're going to need more fuel to make 400hp. In short, that means fuel pump and injector upgrade.

3rd, you're going to need some form of Fuel Management, whether its a piggyback unit or a standalone like Wolf or Haltech.

Anyway, I'm an FC guy, so the FD guys can get you more details...

If you're in Toronto, go to Magnus Motorsports. They know all about FD's and can lead you the right way.

racing on the street is illegal and dangerous first off...

You need fuel pump, injectors, clutch, radiator, ast, intake, turbo, exhaust manifold, dp, mp, cb, lines & fittings, intercooler, ecu, and pulleys to eliminate air pump. hmmm....depending on what you go with you will probably have to relocate the battery, fpr, and upgrade oil coolers. More than likely you will want to do all this on a new motor so its not for waste on this on. If you blow a seal it could gernade the exhaust turbine in the turbo and then your out of luck It's not a cheap thing to do and you need to plan it well according to what you want. There are tons of turbos out there so make sure you find one that suits your desires.
