im going to a single turbo. any suggestions?
I have a pretty much stock 93. Ive finally got the cash, and I want to get a single turbo set up for a street driven fd. I would like to get to the 11s. Im ordering all the parts at one time. so my question is what set up would be best for me? (turbo, fmic, fuel computer, etc). Also im in the st louis area so what shop would you guys recommend?

1. Get rid of the vielside kit
2. if your car is stock don't go single yet. First do all reliabilty mods if you haven't yet.
3. Do some other performance mods like u listed (ecu, ic, cb, dp, etc...)
4. Get rid of the vielside kit

You should become familiar with the search button on this forum for starters. That will answer 99% of your questions.
But just to get you started thinking... starting from a stock car to go single turbo 11s you will need:
new clutch
new radiator
ignition booster such as the HKS TwinPower
bigger fuel pump
bigger fuel injectors (either 550/1660 or 850/1600 combo)
new secondary fuel rail
new fuel pressure regulator
downpipe to go with your new turbo
midpipe or high flow cat (I prefer midpipe)
catback
Aftermarket engine management (PowerFC is a popular choice)
... and a new turbo..
The turbo choice is a HUGE topic just by itself. Some popular choices in no particular order are:
Apex RX-6
T04E
T04S
GT 35/40
T78
and there are many others. Those are some of the most common ones that could get you to your goals. I bet if you do a search on the single turbo section for "which turbo" you will find tons of info.
Good luck
