I'll be putting my Garret to4s 60-1 with a .84 hotside this weekend along with fuel kit that rx7store.net sells. I finially was able to get everything after long time of waiting for parts to come in but there all here now. Here are some pics. of the turbo, the hks manifold compared to the Stone Cold Racing / ebay manifold, and all the boxs of parts.

I just need some help on how to put it in. I have taken out my stock turbos off about 3-4 times and put them back in, so thats the easy part. I just need to know the technical stuff like which vacume house do I rip off. "I'm guessing all of them". How to route the HKS wastgate becuase it didn't come with any instructions. And how to I route the fuel line with the fuel rail. I have a guy thats comming over to help me out, but hes not going to be there the hole time. I could probably do everything myself but I dont want to mess with any that has to do with the fuel or oil. I've been trying to connect the ss lines to the ends for about a month and still haven't figured out how to do it. If there are any links or tips you guys have, let me have them to help me with this install. Thanks.

This is what I did all weekend. Took off everything, cleaned everything, started to setup the injectors and started putting the single turbo in. So far has been fun. I still need to make the oil feed and oil return. Seems easy.

Cool i will hopefully be doing something very similar later in the year. What fuel setup did you go with?
Edit* Here are a couple useful links for your fuel system questions.

I have a quick question for anyone that could answer it... Can I lube the injectores with engine oil to slip them into the block, and like wise into the fuel rail. Thanks.

Hooray For Boobies!!!
Use a small amout of vaseline, be sure to take a good look at the injector o-rings for defects. Then watch for fuel leaks, but you should be good to go.

looks good so far. i assume since you live in florida that you wont be keeping any of your emissions crapola. . . well. . . take it all out. all the solenoids. . . you dont need em. hook up the fuel pressure regulator to a GOOD manifold vacc/press source. theres one on the LIM that points AFT. its on the inside of the LIM and very close to the block. thats the one i use. as for your oil injectors. . . you can leave them open. . . but if you dont care to do that, you can find. . . well. . . i had mine hooked up PRE turbo. i thought i read that they need to see vaccum to work. . . but ari, evidently, doesnt hook up a source to them. . . whats good for the goose. . . yada, yada, yada
your fuel system is something you can figure out for yourself. it just depends on what YOU want to do. some people reverse the flow (instead of pri - sec they go sec - pri). the idea is that the secondary injectors dont need to be plagued by routing and starvation if any cavitation occurs before fuel gets to them.

I finially got the fuel rail and injectors in but I used the oil. The o-rings were fine. I have the stone cold racing manifold for sale. The holes didn't match up and i didn't feel like dealing with drilling new holes. The stone cold manifold actually works really well. My mechanic has that type of manifold on his car for a really long time now and works prefectly, no problems, and the turbo sits a lot higher for more of a bling bling affect. I also had the motor rebuilt 6k miles ago and riped out all the emissions, and this time im ripping all the vacume hoses out. Now i have everything done but im waitting 2 fittings to arrive, and my retuned PFC from rx7store. I have a question, for the oil injectors were do I rought the vacume hoses. Thanks. Later. Im selling the manifold for 110$ if anyone ones it. I baught it for 170.

I was actually talking about the HKS cast manifold, I have been looking for one but they only seem to sell them with the kit.

Hi again, I was wondering if anyone had pics of there oil return hose from the turbo. Im stuck becuase my return hose isn't working out as planed. Also where can i find a flange for the standered wastgate for the dump tube. Or just the dumptube itself... I need one. I'll also be recieving the two fittings tommarow so I'll start putting everything back tommarow and take some pics. Thanks. Is there anywhere also I could find info on conecting the wastegate. I am uncertain about that... Is there supposed to be a nipple on the turbine housing to connect to the wastegate. Mine doesn't have it, what do i do.

I finially got the fittings i was waiting for and here they are installed on my car. The fuel system is done, I just need to check for any leaks. But hopefully people will use that pic to describe hows it run, cause I could have used a simple pic like that. Also my oil feed line didn't come out pretty but heck, it works. Does anyone know how to prime the fuel system to check for leaks. Anyone....

PLEASE check this out in the manual or on this site to confirm this. I'd hate to find out that it activates the self-destruct instead of the fuel pump.
