What was done with the coolant lines that used to go to the stock twin turbos? They are the two nipples located on the side of the water pump housing and below where the air-pump would be.

Are they looped or capped????

I capped mine with rubber fittings and metal clamps. Eventually I will probably weld the holes shut.

 

Where did you find caps strong enough not to burst?

my kit came with caps, but i swapped them to a loop because i was afraid of them leaking. which one started to do.

 

loop them. I wouldn't weld anythig shut. If you later decide to go with a ball bearing turbo you'll need water supplies. The cost of ball bearing turbo's will only go down over the years.

I capped mine also. You can get coolant caps at your local parts store, got mine at a Parts City. Ive only ran my car a few times, but they havent leaked yet.

I looped mine using ss braided hose and clamped it

 

Coolant line with a bolt and a clamp in the end.

 

nipples removed and holes welded from inside and out then polished the entire piece

I dont plan on changing out turbos ever again and I decided to keep this one not water cooled.
