Bumping this instead of making a new thread (though I should start one as this got crammed).

Anyway, I'm starting the year with a new setup. I sold my R85 and my Greddy v-spec front mount. My new setup consists of a 42r and I'm now to the point where I'm debating going v-mount. Though front mount seems to be the "easiest."

V-mounts from my understanding are great for auto x, though they are still used for drag racing. Front mounts are right in front of the car and surely get the proper air coverage. One positive to the v-mount is the shorter routing with less pressure drop.

I'm running the Power FC so I need the room in the engine bay for my 3 ignition amps and after market coils (though I'll still find room with the v-mount). I'm asking experience from the experienced users and engineers of products. I'm a welder so the fabrication is no problem. I'm just trying to gain insight toward the proper setup.

I will be doing consistent drag racing this year. I also drive the car around the state every couple weeks and like the highway so it's not just a drag car. Lets hear some input! Thanks in advance!
