Hks twin power is easy and works well at that h/p. I have a friend with it on built supra 1400 h/p and still works at 42 lbs boost!

Autronic 500R or MoTeC CDI box + any number of aftermarket CDI coils
Combo will light anything you throw at it.
Don't crap in your pants when you see the prices.

I've got two crane hi-6's and two lx92 coils. Not sure how I'm going to hook it up to the x4 ignition box on the microtech lt10s but shouldn't be all that hard.

Anyone have a link for more info. on the 500R?
I may be switching to a Motec ECU over the winter and will need a powerful ignition too.

Autronic 500R with Crane Cams LX92 coils is what i run. But it's also important to get low resistance coil wires and correct plugs. Using B11EGV plugs on my setup with a Autronic SM4 ECU.

And im super happy with this setup. Will use it on my 13B PP T04Z build this winter

What about 3 good old trusty MSD 6AL boxes or the MSD DIS 4 Channel, I think i am going to go with the 6AL setup so i can have a better rev limiter than the fuel cut on the Power FC

can someone give me a ballpark figure on the autronic? i guess i must be blind, but i cant seem to find a price anywhere. everybody that sells them just says call for pricing. i know its expensive, but since so many of you guys are saying the autronic, it must be a great unit. do you only need one that will run both leading and trailing?

thanks for all the input, i want more!!

Coming from the country where most of this **** is made can say form personal experience and also using Crane Hi6's &7 also seeing jacobs stuff and used MSD 6A's long time ago that nothing compares to the HKS twin power !

It WONT **** plugs at low rpm as sole CDI's will (plug durability is many times better & very obvious), due to its TWIN circuits (you can read up on it) and its PROOVEN to 700++rwhp at 10.x:1 AFR's on rotaries, does not need any fancy coils either.
This is the ign of choice in japan on virtualy ALL fd's be they drag (9's at 147mph) or circuit (fastest track cars and top speed holders) and they tune stupidly rich to the point of looking like a diesel truck

I got/seen set ups running right now
R500
Crane Hi6's & LX92 coils
HKS twin power
M&W pro 14

and I pick the HKS twin power myself.
If I was going to do 1000rwhp methanol or something else stupid might look into something else?

M&W/Motec or Autronic are roughly ~$900-1000

With the twin power, I've noticed that it is mostly advertised for FD's. I take it that it can just be wired in with a haltech on an FC w/ the stock coils, and it will be fine?

Or is there something else I'm missing?
