ok i have a 89 rx7 with stock turbo and right now i have a front mount IC with 2 inch id pipe im planning to do a V mount or get the IC closer to the radiator the reason is i want quicker spool. right now with my setup i can get boost at 2500 rpm and get full boost at 4k and it feel that all the power i dont get it until there. and for autoX it just not right. so im thinking of V mount or bring the IC closer to the radiator without creating heat soak and one of my question is whats more eficient and the piping question because i have 2 inch pipe like stock but my inlets of my IC is 3 inches. if that affect the respond of the turbo? should i go bigger or step like the greedy front mount? im looking for quicker respond without loosing too much power. thanks
