I want to rebuild my T04S

Has anyone rebuilt these before? Where can I get a rebuild kit and how much do they go for? What special tools are needed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm dumping oil out of the compressor side and hopefully no wheel or shaft damage... Thanks a lot.

You misunderstood... I want to rebuild my T04S, not pay someone else to do it. See I just spent nearly 3k for a turbo that's a piece of $hit and don't feel like spending another 600 to have it the way it should have been to begin with. Does anyone know if rebuild kits are available?

A rebuild wont cost $600 if you don't need either of the wheels. Call Charlie @ Atlantic turbo in Lake worth, Fl. 562.736.7606. He has done several for me over the years. It sounds like you just have a bad "piston ring" and before you just put a new one in tolerances need to be checked.

Boostin7, I know how You feel. I am getting mine back and am going to do it myself with the help of a machinist Buddy.

You misunderstood me too. I said we charge 600 for the rebuild if the seals/shaft and wheels are damaged. If those aren't damaged the it will be much cheaper. If you take yours apart and find exactly what you need then we can get you the parts individually.

Let me know. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
