If I leave the battery hooked up, the battery runs flat. My boss came over to borrow some...ahem..videos and to come from a wrap in the 7. Had to jump start the bitch. Got it going and had to go put fuel in it. Get to the servo and the fuel filler cap won't pop open. Eventually get it open and fill it up. Go to start it, it won't kick over!! GGGGGGRRRRRRRRR!! Try unsuccessfully to clutch start it 3 times in the middle of a servo. Eventually got it going after me and my boss almost pass out. FINALLY!!

Drive to a local back road with a bit of a straight and a few twists to give the car a hit. First gear and away we go, punch second and the car hooks up and goes. Punch third, goes in, pops out, bang, crunch and really bad grinding noises. The car isnt in gear, yet is still making the tinkering noise from under the car. Oh ****, I just bust the front uni on the tailshaft. Select 4th gear and the car drives under its own power. Nope, its the box thats gone. Luckily, was like 1km from home and putt home in 2nd. Put the car in third, it goes in and stays, but there is NO gear there at all. The car free revs. WOOPS! :p

The boss says he has never felt anything like it. I said you should feel it in third

BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

Then I get home, play some Day of Defeat and get my **** handed to me, probably by some pimply faced 15 y/o ;(

Now you can lose that TII box in favor of a real tranny and run some 10s

 

Node - Yeah DoD 2.0 owns!! I think I just broke 3rd gear. I have another box going in on Monday, just a straight up replacement, should be fine.

Felix - Nothing else fits in I could go to a supra box but would have to mod the trans tunnel and shift location. As it is, the new T2 box is only costing me $350AUD fitted
