Cool.
1) keep your boost at or below 10 PSI.
2) be ready to replace the engine.
3) keep boost at or below 10 PSI
4) why?

10psi on a single turbo is a lot different then 10psi on the stock twins, your fuel needs will be ALOT higher

The first thing we really should know what are your current fuel and timing system mods?

Do not put a single turbo on your RX-7 unless you have the ability to tune the car with a wideband and you have a programmable engine management system...

If you just bolt it on and run with the factory computer I bet you it blows in less than 6 months.

I'm ready.
I have a problem to control the boost , but I think that I only have to change the wastegate spring for a softer one.

I woundn't really run any boost without upgrading your fuel system.

dude you are not understanding what others are saying to you, DO NOT RUN YOUR CAR WITH A SINGLE TURBO IF ITS COMPLETELY STOCK. You need an aftermarket ECU and bigger fuel injectors or reconfigure your injectors to give more fuel. You will be sorry if you run your car like this, listen to us and get a programmable ECU or a PFC.

If you're going to run no greater than 10 psi, I believe you could get away with a piggy-back fuel controller, like the e-manage, or the S-AFC. Since you're having a boost control problem (spike, creep?), invest in an electronic boost controller, or if you're a cheapskate, you can use a ball valve as a bleed orifice.

you can drive your car, to brake in. the car will start and drive fine, but never never boost it.

one of my friend did it on his single T. because at that time he did not have any money to buy or tune the car. I rember he drove his car for 4K mile with out any trouble, but keep in mind he did not even boost at car a bit and drive like a lady

BTW he had HKS T04R kit. oh he did have pump upgarde

Give the guy a break... at least his car is back together... that is more than I can say for mine and probably alot of other people who post in the single turbo forum. Yes he should upgrade the ecu, and fuel pump... but he shouldn't have a problem if he doesn't get on it.

Nice job, good luck with the motor... hopefully I can drive mine soon too.

If your 100% stock, I would search the forum for the homedepot manuel boost controller. Use this to control your boost. Since you odviously have no idea how much that turbo will flow, I wouldn't run boost any higher than 8psi.

I will change the ecu of my car as soon as I get the money to do it. and I will boost no more than 10 psi.

But I need to know, If I work with only 8 psi with the stock ecu, Im going to damage the engine?
Please tell me if I can boost a litle bit (8psi or less) or none?.

Its going to depend on the efficiency of your turbo at that spacific pressure. If that turbo is more efficient than the stock twins at a certain boost (like say 8psi) then your going to be injesting more oxygen with the single than you would be with the twins....even at the same pressure. The ecu has no way to know this, it supplies the same amout of fuel that it would with twins....you run lean and BOOOOOMMMMM

The only way to know for sure, is to strap on the single, take it to the dyno, put the sensor where the stock O2 sensor is (so that its in front of the stock cats, you'll get a more accurate reading) and run it on the dyno to get a a/f ratio. At 8-10psi if you are under 11.7 you should be ok.

Nah, this turbo is fine. Just bolt a restrictor plate over the throttle with a 3cm hole, or stuff some old underwear into the intake snorkel.
