I just changed to a less restrictive air filter on my GT4094R..now running lean..Help

Running lean through my whole map by about .5 - 1 AFR right after changing out my generic air filter to a K&N unit. What fix do you guys recomend? The options i have thought of are:
1) Raise the fuel pressure a few psi.
2) Add 1ms or so to the entire fuel map
3) Complete retune (prefer to avoid this one) .

What would you do as the easiest method, and what do you suggest i do?

Depends on what type of ECU you are running, and your skill level.
Just man up and make your own decision, or pay up.

If you are not comfortable at all with tuning i would vote for raising the fuel pressure if your fuel system is up to it. You could simply start high and work your way down till your A/F are close to what you are comfortable with on boost. Problem is your idle and cruse A/F are more then likely going to be a little richer but this would get you by till you can get it to a tuner.

that new found airflow is going to affect your whole map.
a blanket % increase isn't going to fix it.

time for a re-tune.

I'm not a tuner, nor an expert but the cost to get a re-tune compared to possibly blowing your engine is an easy decision. And .5 - 1 AFR at 500 RWHP, 25psi on pump & water is a big difference in an already narrow window of running "safe". If your going to do something, may as well do it right the first time.

You need to retune the high flow areas of hte map, it will make SFA difference to idle/off idle areas the the most difference around peak power as you have a better intake to exhaust pressure ratio (as the turbo requires less shaft power for the same mass flow to reach the target absolute manifold pressure), which is why it is lean, you are achieving more flow at the same manifold pressure and using less exhaust energy to get there.

If you just bump the fuel pressure or universal fuel trim you will be too rich on idle and low load/rpm.

I decided to adjust the map instead of fuel pressure and had good results. I added 1ms to all areas above 0 psi and this took me back pretty much to where I was before the new are filter.

Wow !! what a difference a little air makes. On my setup/map 1ms is a ton of fuel.

Thanks for your suggestions.
