I have a question for all you guys on a 90 GXL

on my car i am running stock everything i have an intake head but haven't put it on yet can you guys give me some info on what kinda of turbo i should get and how much psi i should boost at on a bone stock 1990 GXL please let me know your opinions on this!!i have a 115k miles too

Ideally you should go with a TII (sell GXL and buy TII)... but i didn't listen to this answer either, so...

If you chose a decent intercooler, you could probably run about 6 lbs of boost using a stock series 5 TII turbocharger (you can usually find 'em for around 200 bucks). To do this you would (at the very least) need a TII fuel pump, Injectors, and a RRFPR (rising rate fuel pressure regulator). There was a thread awhile ago on how to make the TII turbo / manifold assembly clear the NA's intake manifold. I think it said that you needed to have somebody weld 2.5" extensions onto the exhaust ports (no big deal...).
