hybrid turbo sizing questions

I recently Bought myself ANOTHER fc!!! .. the reason i bought this one is because i got it For an EXCEllent price and i know the Cars history.. so Weekend Racer here we come!
to start, its a Freshly Rubuilt s4 block with an average street port. rb oil pressure regulator and an fd fuel pump.. the issue i have with the car is that the previous owner ran out of money and bought an ebay special t3/t4 hybrid turbo package with manifold.. well by the time the engine was broken in we had blown 2 good size holes in the manifold, so ive removed it and welded the holes closed.. put it back on and its ok... for now... i know im gonna blow the manifold to bits so i was thinking I would go with a NEUKIN t4 manifold?? expensive but looks like TOP quality..???? now the turbo, its a to4E cold side and a t3 hot side but i dont know the fan size or a/r.. the turbo has caused me no problems yet, however i know its doomed because its a cheap piece of crap..
i want to do a hybrid again i like the fast spool up.. My hp goals are 400 Absolute max,
i was thinking of a turbonetics to4e cold side with a t3 turbine with, 62mm fan and .85 ar .. its litteraly the biggest fan blade and ar ive ever seen on a t3.. kinda sounds more like a modest t4 with better spool times to me?? am i crazy? help me out...
oh, btw.. the car is currently running a stock tune... and there are NO emitions laws for me to worry about.. so i would run a 3" straight pipe turbo back to an ebay can probably.. unless 4" is better?
last random question, I have an safc2 and a wideband coming out of my other car, think a modest 680cc primaries and 720cc secondaries tuned with my apexi would work well with the small turbo with big dreams? THANKS!!!!

rebuild the china turbo into a s5 split pulse rear and use a stock manifold ?
if shaft is 6.35mm then you can rebuild and use the t04 coldside onto the hitachi ht18s hotside wheel and shaft ( and whichever CHRA type takes your fancy )

"hp goals are 400 Absolute max"

" 680cc primaries and 720cc secondaries"

let's assume you really do want to make 400 (max) hp.

400 X 1.92 = 768 CFM

768/ 14.471 = 53 lbs per minute of air from your turbo. (BTW, i like the TO4E compressors, you just need the right one)

let's assume you want to be able to tune down to 10.75 AFR. i realise you won't generally run that rich but it is wise to have a small amount of reserve.

53 lbs/ minute of air

10.75 AFR

53/ 10.75 = 4.94 lbs per minute of fuel

4.94 is .777 gallons per minute

.777 GPM is 2941 CC/Minute

max duty cycle .85, deduct for lag .87

.85 X .87 = .7395 is the NET deliverability

1/ .7935 = 1.352

1.352 X 2941 CC/Min Net = 3977 CC/Min Gross Fuel needed for 400 hp

you have:

2800 CC/Min.... that is 281 rwhp using my assumptions (10.75 AFR)

BTW, i ran two TO4s on my FD for 5 years. they were 46 trims and each was capable of 44 lbs/minute. given you will run one i suggest the Stage 5 turbine wheel w a .82 housing. i haven't kept up w the T3 stuff since 09 so maybe there is something bigger.

stage 5 is 5.408 area. stock GT3582r is 5.171.

the cold side of the 60-1 is 5.647 so that would make a nice balance. it does make more air than you need at 60 lbs.

the TO4E 60 trim is 5.476 and makes 50 lbs which would work well.

good luck and make sure you have enough injector capacity.
