howd i bend my impeller?

hey all i got a t04s off of cheapturbo.com to make a long story short i have only been able to drive the car where i can reach boost for about a week or two now. i was just driving casual when i heard a weird sound and no more boost. so i pulled over and took the filter off and at idle it was stopped. it doesnt have any play in any direction but when u turn it it hits the housing in two different spots during one full rotation. i will get some pics later but i was just wondering how in the hell that is possible with very minimal boost runs and having a filter on it the entire time?

Similar thing happened to me with my last turbo , turned out to be the locking ring that keeps the sleeve bearing in place on the compressor end ,went missing allowing the bearing to slide back and forth on the shaft resulting in no support and therefore excessive lateral movement of the compressor wheel whis isn't good !! .
