Question How would you build a mid 9second rex?

What turbo? Im thinking of T51R - BB
Stock tranny?
What kinda porting?
What kind of budget?
etc etc....

You can always copy Ari Yallon car but that would be kinda lame.

Anyone knows if he used his nitrous system when i ran that 9.587 time?

Nitro = nitromethane-
Nitrous = Nitrous Oxide, N20

13B-REW converted to large single turbo (T78 or T51R or other?). Large streetport or 1/2 bridgeport. Lots of boost (2bar+) and a nitrous shot, probably not overly large though.

20B with even larger single turbo and similar mods is another option.

Drop out any weight possible.

Take one 93 RX7 and put in:
Garret TV-45 (30psi)
Haltec F9
2nd Gen front cover and distributor
Large port
100 shot NOS
Lots of suspension work
Fuel cell
complete fuel system, two inline pumps, regulator

Take out:
Everything.

Damn, that thing might run 8's.

There are quite a few things that Ari doesn't tell anybody about his car.

All of you forgot to mention differential upgrades and axles. You'll break a few of those trying to get into 10's.

What about Ari's car.....?

That his T78 is a T88??

That one of his shown dyno charts he runs 30psi off NOS and then only runs about 26psi on NOS?

That his motor is half bridged?

That he isnt running one RP fuel pump?

hehehehe....its fun to know people.

Are you talking about an FD? FC or FB/SA?

Do you want to run 9s all dya or just one pass and go home saying you ran a 9?

C16 race fuel or methanol?

Auto or manual?
Clutch or non clutch? Air shifted?

Or are you 'just curious'?

Anything can be made to go fast, just depends on how much your willing to spend and work on it. But stick with a RX7 much more unique of a ride

unfortunately, the supra can get into 9's easier. Big *** turbo, Nos, fuel and spark systems, computer, and you're goin 9's with a good driver. but it wont handle for ****.

not entirely true.. Know how much hp it takes to get a supra in the 9's? A ton, from what I have seen 3-400 more than it takes to get a rx7 in the 9's..
