How to tell the difference between a single turbo or twins

I won't let go
I was about to say...the vid showed him doggin' it pretty bad. I'm curious to know if you test drove it yourself before you picked it up? That video and what you said pretty much confirms the seller knew it was toast.
In all seriousness, why did you buy a car that you knew nothing about, not even specifically but generally? I'd strongly suggest finding someone trustworthy that's a mechanic and take it to them to give it a once over.

Is this a joke?
1) I can't believe that is a sales video because the guy wipes out and nearly crashes your car. Imagine what they did off camera. They didn't bother to wash the engine. It's so unprofessional it hurts.
2) I can't believe someone would be dumb enough to buy that car after watching that video. Especially knowing nothing about it. Were there any pictures of the undercarriage, any mechanical inspection reports? Like compression numbers on the engine, alignment, carfax, anything?
I am still in disbelief of this thread. Congratulations on having a lot of money to waste because that's exactly what you just did. Honestly I can truly say that is the worst RX7 I have ever seen sold to someone overseas. Usually the auto auctions are rather picky. The national auto auction system has strict standards for inspections and I can show you what a normal report looks like. They mark down scratches, everything. 99% of them are super clean and super cheap. If they are just totally gnarly they usually get left by the side of the road in Chiba until the local police tow it to be crushed.
Here is an example of the report:
And this is the standardized method they use to take pictures of the cars, not crazy videos:
You're supposed to get in touch with a company that can buy it from the auction for you and then export it. They never even step foot in the vehicle, it's just put on a boat. All they are is a middle man with an office, no garage etc. The auction staff are very professional and won't bother to joy ride your RX7 because they don't have the time and they sell like 100 of them per day. Honestly this thread just baffles me.
