so im getting ready to go single turbo and im wondering how much power i can expect and how much boost i should run. here are my engine mods that i have or im doing.

stock ports, apexi rx6 single turbo kit, power fc, commander, datalogit, apexi fmic, 1200cc secondaries, 850primaries, supra tt fuel pump, xs power pack ignition, greddy profec b spec II boost controller, full exhaust, midpipe, pf catback, air pump elimination, greddy elbow w/ flange and greddy type s bov. koyo radiator, pettit alum. ast, new spark plugs and wires.

so how much boost should i tune for and how much power should i expect? thanks for any input guys.

 

You do know the apexi rx6 has a very small hotside and doesn't make much more power than the stock twins, right?

 

im just looking for fast spool and around 400rwhp. if its not enough ill upgrade next year or engine.

 

Well, it will definitely give you very quick spool up. 400 to the ground on pump gas might be pushing it a bit. Also, there have been different versions of the rx6 turbo kit over the years, do you know which version you are getting?

 

i have it already and all parts except air pump elim kit. i have the newer version that is just oil cooled.
