i finally got the garrett 60-1 turbo with p-trim 0.84 divided housing.
it's from local shop but funny thing it doesn't have any garrett tag or anything that says garrett.
turbo looks exatly same as the picture in cheapturbo.com.
my guy keep saying it's true garrett so I just pay the bill.
is all the garrett suppose to have any tag.etc.
is there anyway to tell if it's real garrett?

The casting on the exhaust housing will be stamped with "Garrett" and there should also be a manufactuers tag on the CHRA with serial numbers etc.

 

mine doesn't have any tag No garrett letters on the housing either.
now I'm worried.
