How can I identify a turbo?

I feel like an idiot but I need to know how I can identify what kind of turbo is on this car...

It's a Garrett turbocharger and it says .70 A/R on the compressor side. Where else do I look to find out what everything is? I've had some people take a quick "at a glance" look at it and say it's a GT35R and some say it's a 60-1. And they say that the .70 A/R on the compressor side means the hotside is .70 A/R. I'm trying to find out what it is and what size the hotside is as well as what type of flange it has because if it is a GT35R I'd like to go up to a T04Z with a 1.00 A/R hotside and I need to know if I need a new manifold to do so...

Heres a link that shows the dimensions of a few flanges. You can measure and compare. But they make the gt35 in both a t3 and t4 flange, so that probably wont help you..

So the biggest difference is that the T4 flange is divided and the T3 is not? That would be easier than measuring it...

.70 A/R on the compressor could be a lot of things. If it is coupled with an undivided .96 A/R on the hotside it is highly likely that it is a 60-1 . T4 GT35R is usually a divided .82 or 1.0, or larger sometimes. It is highly unlikely that the hotside is .70 A/R as well as the compressor side.

If I pull the turbo off a little would I find the size of the hotside stamped somewhere? The turbo is currently under a heatshield that I am to lazy to remove unless I know for sure I will find something...

Check to see if you have a plack on the cool side like in the pic; mine says 740759-5002 which means its a t04z. Sorry the pics not the best but hopeful you get the idea.

Thats the only problem... Garrett decided they were too cool to put those things on my turbo.

No I would have to borrow a friends camera and remove stuff from the car just to get a pic of it. I have a tool shortage so I can't really do much work to the car myself. I need to remove a metal heat shield that is intricately attached to the turbo in ways that my crappy tools can't remove. I just ran into a problem involving some possibly clogged injectors so I'm just going to have bigger ones put in and while Gotham works on that and a water/meth kit I'll have them ID the turbo.
