There seems to be a lot of focus on the T4 19cm housing for the FD.. I thought it was type error first time I saw it but I see there is also a T4 18cm housing for the HX40? Is there really that many size? so we have 16,18,19,22,26? Is that correct or is the 18cm something special?

I guess the 18cm would also be a nice size for the FD then?

HX50 bad boy!

Guy's, would an HX50 on a stock ported motor be way too laggy?? Or would it depend on exhaust housing size?? If so what would be the ideal exhaust housing size? or same as for the HX40.. As far as I know the HX40 is preferred.. curious if anyone has had an hx50 though.

Cheers

Guy's is there any chance someone who is running an HX40 turbo with a 19cm housing and T4 flange.. preferably with external wastgate can give me the Holset part number please.. Also if someone can do the same for a 16cm unit bonus.. I can try and get one here but people only understand part numbers!! Can give specs and sizes till I am blue in the face and no joy!
Any help much appreciated.
Thank you

TO the guys using the 22cm housing are you using a gasket at the v-band flange? I'm using an H1e with this http://store.airflo.com/ad411.html flange and this vband http://store.airflo.com/vclfor3ex.html and it leaks a lot even after making a gasket out of aluminum. Any info appreciated.

Do you guys think a 18.5cm T3 exhaust H1C twin scroll would be two small for a full cut bridge port?

Yes. I run a 22cm t4 on my half bridge and will probably need to step up to a 26cm once I start turning the boost up..
