holding boost at high rpm question
hey guys i'm not sure if is a leaking wastegate or a setting on my greddy boost controller but i'm been having some trouble holding boost at high rpm. my tdo6/60-1 setup on my FC builds boost at 3k about 4 will build to 17 psi and then just start fluctuating between 17-15 or sometime lower to the 12's all the way to rev limit at 8100. now i am not sure whats causing it. i thought was the turbo been small or going bad but only have a few miles and have enough oil to it. check for exhaust and intake leaks and nothing. does anyone had this problem before and what help fixing it? thanks
Eddie

Something that could be easy to try is to make your own cheap spring and ball boost controller and see what happens, it could also help you spool a little faster than ebc. In the end you are only out $15 for making mbc, worth a try.

Sorry for not replying sooner. I'm been playing around with the settings I have the "set" at 40% "gain" at 25%, "set gain" at 13 psi. Now I lowered the boost to 15 psi and holds 15 until 6000 rpms and starts fluctuating between 12 and 15 and sometime drops lower than that. I try adding fuel and play with the timing but no change
