HKS/XS cast manifold & 3.5inch DP

I have the XS engineering cast manifold on my FD. (I believe it is identical to the HKS unit).

I am building a custom turblown TD61 journal bearing kit and pretty much got everything together besides the DP which has been a NIGHTMARE to fit. I had purchased the manifold, hks 40mm wastegate and DP together off a member here. The manifold and wastegate location along with the dump tube makes it a very tight place for the Dp to travel through.

Long story short, I want to tow the car to my exhaust/fab guy and have him either 1) make my current DP fit somehow or 2) remake me a 3.5inch DP from scratch.

I just want to verify if anyone on here has possible managed a 3.5inch DP with the cast manifold. I dont want to waste my time/money trying to make it fit if its gonna be a serious challenge. I also am curious if the standard HKS 40mm wategate will handle it all and not creep. I am still on stock ports and will be not boosting past 15psi btw.

Can't comment on the downpipe, but the wastegate should be fine performance wise. To free up space, you might consider one of the newer Tial valves. They're much shorter than the HKS. Making an adapter plate for the HKS manifold is easy enough. Someone, think its Banzai, sells one.

I have checked out the Tial wastegate adapter and considered getting it. Even though the tial is shorter than the hks, with the adapter itll prob be the same length or even longer. If I do get creep I will def switch to it.
