because the way it looks. If you've seen someone so many times, can't you pick them out of a crowd?

That's very helpful, thank you.

What are the visual differences between the FC and FD manifold?

the runners are longer at the bottom. that is the pipe from the engine flange extends more on FC then FD, this is to clear the LIM of the fc. I stand to be corrected, but thats a massive giveaway...

on the fc manifolds, the turbo flange is parallel (or close to parallel) to the engine-manifold flange.

on the fd's, the turbo flange is angled up to provide more clearance for the frame rail.
also, the only fd manifolds i've seen from them are divided. i don't know if ALL of them are--just all the ones i've seen.

Sorry about my last response (yes, I detected your sarcasm). I answer vague questions with vague answers. But, more specifically, all the 3rd gen HKS cast manifolds I've seen are divided and look like this pic as opposed to the 2nd gen maniflds which place the turbo farther forward and are non divided.

I think in the thread we're compairing 3rd gen HKS cast with 2nd gen HKS cast. Your pic of the 3rd gen mani is a wrapped tubular.

heres a pic of this manifold installed on a second gen. Sorry for the rust but I have noticed lately that this thing turned bright orange over night. I also noticed that when i got it it was all black cast and the oil from your hand would change the color.
