Hey I'm just wondering does anyone else have one of these boost controllers? I just want to know if anyone else is having an issue with it.

I had one for around 6 months. Overall, a good controller. It's essentially a Greddy Profect B with a small controller, and different names for the features.

I had no real issues, but it did take some time to dial in correctly.

Did u ever experience it spiking to high amounts of boost out of no where? No matter what psi you set it to?

That's what I was thinking about doing too because it seems to be a real pain. And it's tripping out.

What are your settings? Like what numbers have you put into it?

It's either plumbed wrong or the settings need to be adjusted. The vast majority of the time, it ends up being a misunderstanding about how to set the controller.

Definitely listen to Arghx on this one. I used his advice from another thread to get a feel for mine, and dial it in.

I did have spikes if I tried to keep the wastegate closed for too long using the "overboost". This allows boost to rise as fast as possible by keeping the wastegate shut. It's easy to get greedy thinking it will increase spool, which is what its purpose is for. But if your wastegate isn't up to the task, it can cause problems. Most advise to have it hold the wastegate closed until around 4 psi before desired boost. I found that my Tial 44mm wasn't cutting it at 23psi. I had to turn the "overboost" down to around 6psi, and adjust the "offset" up. The "offset" is essentially the solenoid duty cycle. Doing this, boost would rise normal and level off normal. After that, I had no spikes or weirdness. I would just slightly adjust the "offset" for cooler weather, when boost would rise a bit.

Btw, I have an English version of the manual in PDF format. I can email it to you. It explains the different ways to hook it up, as well as all the functions. It's too large to attach.

PM me if you need it.

Not sure if it plugged I wrong. The offset value is what your psi is at right?

Yes, once you post the settings you have on here we can find the cause of your problems.
