HKS cast manifold needs a metal gasket?

Guys,
Should I put a metal gasket between my hks cast manifold and my to4 turbo backside?

right now I just have it mocked up for fabing the DP placement. Before I crank everything down I was wondering if it needed a metal gasket or not.

Yes, you need a gasket there. They are cheap, look on ebay or any local/national turbo supply/retailer. You can make your own also if you buy a sheet of anealed copper, just trace out a template and cut it out. It must be shoft/anealed however, if its not, a torch will do the job. Heat it evenly till its red hot, then let it cool SLOWLY. It should be soft after it cools, then cut out your gasket. This can be done for pretty much any gasket, intakes, muffler, turbo etc. although the standard paper/rubber gaskets work fine for intakes.
