Hi everyone, what a nice forum... just ?s

First of all I want to say hello everyone here... I am from Turkiye, and very pleasant to read the threads here. I just bought a '93 FD... It is very rare here and no parts available. luckily, a friend of mine is living in the USA, and he can send all the parts I want.
My car is stock. I want it to modify but my aim is not to break a hp record. I just want a realiable car that makes much hp. I know what to do for its reliability. But i have not decided whether i go with stock twins or a single one like gt3540 or apexi rx6. I want 300-350 rwhp. I will buy apexi fc with commander, aem uego wideband, aliminium ast, pipe kit, intercooler (not decided whether greddy 2 row fmıc or M2 SMIC), injectors (850cc secondary, 1300 cc primeries), spark plugs, spark plug wires (magnacor 10mm), nippodenso feul pump, Fluidyne radiator...
What do you guys think about the reliable modifying it? Are the twins reliable or go with a single setup like GT35R or Apexi RX6 @14-15 psi...
If I stay with the twins i will buy downpipe, midpipe, catback exhaust, intercoooler and piping...
Or do you have another suggestions? I am waiting for your knowledge...
Thanks lot, and have a nice ride...

1st do reliability modifications and then learn to drive and enjoy the car.
After that you can upgrade parts as needed until you are ready for a single turbo set-up.
Enjoy it!

If you are only after 300-350bhp it can be gained with the twin turbo setup no need for the big single.

Is the twins reliable for 300-350 whp? What boost lvel is enough and reliable for a stock motor? Here, in my country it is very hard to modify the engine like streetport or something? What should i do? Do i need 2mm apex seals at least? I want stock motor and reliable 300-350 whp... Money is no problem... Waht should i buy except, powerfc, ast, fmic or smic, air filter, downpipe, midpipe, catback exhaust system? Do i need boost increase, fuel pump, sspark plugs, injectors? What should be the setup for twins to rich 300-350 whp on stock motor?

Selam! Do you know the popular freediver in your country Yasemin Dalkilic? (www.YaseminDalkilic.com) I am her training partner David Lee (www.ApneaBlue.com) and have been to Turkiye about 6 times for training now. The Durum Truck in Bodrum is my favourite place to eat

Anyway, with that out of the way. You will also need a boost controler...I recommend the ProfecB...Simple to install and easy to use. Also a Fuel Pressure Regulator, new plug wires..Also if you buy a turbo kit it should come with the DP already...Would be nice to upgrade the fuel pump but I do belive you will be ok with the stocker at 350...But i'd upgrade the injectors since I was seeing 90% duty cycle on them at 14psi and 314rwhp.

For 300-350 a nice fast spooling turbo would be the Apexi RX6B....My frined here has it and loves it...If you want a bit more power the Gt35/40 spools as quick but gives you a little more power. I am not sure what you will l get from them with stock ports but I know it will be in your HP range. I think you could get the numbers you want on either turbo and have a reliable setup. I think the stock twins to get that much HP out of them on a stock motor you would need to be pushing them too much at 14-18 psi of boost...

On my previous motor with stock ports and all bolton mods I made 314 @ 14psi.

Anyway, hope I was of some help.

I like Tuekey a lot...Been to Kas 3 times, Bodrum 2 times, and Istanbul 1 time. Great place. I like Kas the most. This PHOTO is in Kas this past June. Both Yas and I did 2 freediving world records there. You can check out the other photos here.

Meanwhile, back to your car. I know what it's like being in a country with no tuning support or rotary support. I am getting ready to move back to Jamaica and have no one there who can help diagnose problems...In jamaica I would be considered a rotary expert...And in my mind, that's a very sad thing. If you have not bought your PFC yet I would recommend you get it from www.GothamRacing.com and have Steve Kan tune it according to the mods you have/will have on your car. It will not be the optimum tune but it will be ok and able to smoke all those Tofash (sp) taxis there Steve at helped Riccardo from Athens with his PFC. They are really good guys and will help you out if you are in a jam.
