Help Smoke at idle

What's up guys?
I have a 93 rx7 street port with a borg warner single turbo. So after i came back from washing my car i shut if off. Then i went to go out again and when i started it smoke came out of the exhaust and didn't stop. under accel it doesn't. The turbo is brand new it was fine for a week after i put it on and now im getting smoke. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? I was thinking either i got shafted on the turbo and it went bad, an oil seal went, or the oil pump is staying wide open
thanks
mike

Sounds like a turbine seal leak from your turbo, but it's not necessarily because of a bad seal. If the turbo is brand new and was working for a week, then I would check the oil pressure going to the turbo. The oil might need to be restricted. Also make sure that your oil drain is not kinked or restricted.

That's exactly what it was a kinked return line
thanks

had a similar problem. my return line was just BARELY kinked so that you couldn't really tell it until you got right up on it. I chased that oil smoke around for days until I noticed it.

Waiting on my SS hoses now. Stupid oil return.
