BC help. single turbo FB project list

going to start ordering parts for my first build!
putting a 93 13b-rew jdm with trans into my 84 GSL-se.
going single turbo too
staying mostly stock with the gsl-se (better rad, brakes, fuel lines though)
the fd engine will be stock except for single turbo instead of the twins
so my list goes like this

MicroTech LT10C ECU from himni racing
4 bosch ignition coils
OBX racing sports turbo manifold t4 divided (ebay)
Borg Warner Air Werks S300SX3-60 / S360 Turbo from himni racing
48mm HKS wastegate
50mm TIAL BOV
-fuel setup
Bosch 044 pump
850 primaries/1650 secondaries
fuel regulator and -6 braided fuel lines
emissions block off plates

still not sure about the inter cooler. (want it to fit in front of rad)
and not sure what else ill need for sure
like boost controller and what kind?
fuel/air ratio meter?
what type of oil cooler to use or if i can just use the stock gsl-se?

if there's anything i've mist or overlooked please feel free to let me know
other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

think: mounts.(how are you gonna put that engine and trans in the car?)
also what is the Trans going to attach to and how you are going to do that.

Planning on using the gsl-se 13b crank cover on the fd engine. Then the motor will mount right up. Then making a moded tran mounts with what I got in the car already.

then you may be thinking along these lines then.
it is for FD to FC.
Mazda |

The FD engine mounts are on the rear iron.FC engine mounts are in the middle.

I'm not an FB guy but I would look into this further(1st gen specific and some BUILD threads)
I was going to put an FD engine in an FC but then again, changed my mind.Too much **** to buy.

Hi

I have done this exact conversion with an fc gearbox. Mine uses a 12a turbo timing cover and is still front mounted. I did put a engine damper in though to help keep it from flexing too badly. I found the early sump didnt line up with a few threads around the rear of the block. I drilled and tapped two of the missing threads and have not had a leak. If you use a standard 12a or 13b timing cover you will need to replace the oil pressure regulator inside it as the fd has a much larger oil pump designed for higher flow and pressure.

Looking at your list i cant help but want to suggest the bw efr7670. This turbo will save you from buying and fabricating an external wastegate a bov and a boost control solenoid. All up with fab thats easily $1000 saved and looks much neater.

If i were going to do it again i would certainly go with the efr. Theres a few cars running them on here now and the results look awesome.

I have the AEM failsafe wideband gauge in my rx and its excellent. It doubles as a boost gauge and data logs for around 3 hours. You can fit quite a large cooler infront of the radiator. i believe a 600 x 300 should go in without to many dramas. You will need a front mount oil cooler, if its the bee hive kind it will not be enough for this setup.
