GTx40

Hey guys,

Is there any one on here that has a GTX40 installed on their rotary..

Im considering an upgrade from my GT35r and was thinking this might be my next step for increase in power.. My car has a 3 speed auto also and will hvae a new 13b cosmo block to suit also..

If anyone has any power figures and also their fuel setups that would be great..

If you change your transmission you won't need a turbo upgrade!

Ignoring the fact that you have an auto.
I would do a GTX4294r

Do you know the specs on the GTX40r that you are getting? it might help to see whether it will make a substantial difference or not.

What are the specs of your 35r now.

Its a little more involved then that. Your power restriction isn't compressor related.
You need to free up the exhaust side before you can unlock any power on the inlet side.

For e.g
I recently had a 12a that had a GT35r with a 1.06 T3 Rear.
We changed to a TDX61 which has the same size compressor wheel with a bigger rear housing and EXHAUST WHEEL and it made nearly 60rwhp more and made more power higher in the rev range.
