A couple things.

Punctuation. Please use it! I got out of breath reading your post

Have you done a search yet? I would suggest you lurk in the Single Turbo section to get a good idea for what people have, and have not, done in the process of going single.

What is your budget, and what is currently done to your car? Where abouts in Texas are you located? You *could* have a well respected Rotary Specialist right around the corner who will be more than qualified to assess your vehicle and advice you on the correct steps you will need to take in order to safely and effeciently choose the correct single setup for you.

Just go with the biggest turbo you can find. It doesn't matter what kind or anything like that. Just get a big one.

Feel free to call me if you have any questions. Max HP could mean a lot of things, Max hp and max reliable hp are two totally different worlds.

Max hp on the street? track? I've driven a couple different single turbo fd's including my own over 400rwhp. 400-450ish is about the upper end of "streetable" horsepower IMHO. A mild street port, 850's in the primary rail, 1600's in the secondary, supra pump and a T-04R or GT40 plus supporting mods should do the trick. Oh yeah..and 10 grand.

If you have to post that question, you obviously have not done enough research yet.

So don't do it until you read... alot. Read and research so much stuff, that when you come back to this thread... you'll laugh. You should laugh and say: "Gosh, I can't believe I was ready to jsut spend money based on a single person's post on the internet, believing they know the best turbo setup for ME. I was so naive"

Until that happens. Don't even attempt to modify your car.

Option B:
Take car and lots of money to a reputable* shop and say "BIG.. .lots of power, because I don't even know what I want to do with my car yet."
*reputable shops are few and far between. Double check yours... and then triple check.

You need to ask yourself a few questions before you start researching:
What is your budget?
Why do I want to go single turbo?
-Is it because I can't figure out the sequential system?
-Is it because my sequential twins blew up?
-Is it because I want more peak power than 380 hp?
--If you don't want more than 380, just get the bnr sequential twins for $2250
What am I going to do with the car?
-Is it going to be purely street driven?
-Is it going to be a drag race vehicle?
-Is it going to be an autocross vehicle?
-Is it going to be a road course vehicle?
-Is it going to be a mix of all 4?
How much lag is acceptable for me?
-the larger the turbo, the more peak power (usually) that it is CAPABLE of producing, but the more lag you will have too.
What is my budget Realistically?
Where do you want your powerband to be?
-back to: What is the car going to be used for?
Can I really even DRIVE 500hp?
-Can I even put 500hp down to the ground? Or will I lose traction all the time?
What EMS do I want to run?
-Who in my area knows how to tune said EMS?
What is my REAL BUDGET for this car?
-How much money do I really have?
What mods do i currently have done to my car?
What other things are wrong with the car that I should fix before going single?
How much money do I really have?

honestly, if you do not research completely you will end up either spending money on crap that does not work, or you will end up with a $?0,000 600 RWHP that you cannot possibly drive on the street for more than 2 miles between refills. (or something equally unuseable for your final goals.)

decide what you really want to do with the car, there is no almighty car that does everything perfect (though the 7 stock does a lot really well) so pick your poison, street, autocross, time attack, 1/4 mile top speed and build acordingly.
