The first one sound like a damn good deal... There is around 6-7K in parts and work on it from the way it sounds, but It doesn't say **** about what turbo or Engine managment system it has and you can't really prove what port or parts it has in the engine untill you tear it apart... same with the tranny

The second one also sounds pretty nice if it actually has good parts and it's tunned well... 425hp engines don't last too long if they are only tunned so so...

Find out where they got there work done and see if they are forum members... Also see if they have any reciepts of the engine work being done... If you can physically look at the cars then check out the engine. with only 1000 miles on it, it should look pretty clean and not be covered in road grime and nasty ****...

Good luck and hope to see you on the forum more often after you get your car...

Yeah, and at 17, with 400+ HP on Tap, please don't kill yourself or others.

Sorry, I know you don't want to hear this, as I am by no means your father. I just think 17 (no matter how mature you are) is too young for a first car with that kind of power.

Almost every kid with a a quest for speed and power wrecks their first ride.

Good Point, But the best way to learn is to put a bunch of Cash and sweat in to somthing you love and **** it up by doing somthing stupid... After that you probably won't do it again... And 400 hp will **** up a new driver in a heart beat... If you get the car turn the boost down and just drive it around for about 6 mos before you start getting stupid with it.. Every car handles diffrent under power and it'll give you a chance to get used to it's little quirks and how to correctly counter steer to controll the car.. At 400 hp the *** end will send you in to a flat spin before you know what's happening unless your ready for it and know how to control it.. Be safe and resist peer pressure..
