Has anyone measured EGTs on each runner of a non-equal length manifold?

Has anyone measured EGTs on each runner of a non-equal length manifold?

I'm in the market for a manifold and a couple of the units I have looked at are not equal length. I am using a turbo with a divided housing.

I am concerned that two different runner lengths may cause back pressure to vary between the two rotors, in turn creating different AFRS and EGTs for each rotor. From what I understand the shape of the pipe (bends ect) is primarly what determines backpressure, so I don't expect the variation to be significant, but I'd still like proof.

Any thoughts/experiences?

I am interested in doing this as well, but XS told me my cast iron manifold would crack if I installed EGT probes.

Wow, that's crazy.
We've installed EGT probes and drilled through the stock pieces, and it's way thinner than the XS cast unit.

Has anyone measured EGTs on each runner of an equal length exhaust manifold?

I have heard that a wide variance between front and rear EGTs on the 3rd gen is due to poor lower intake design.

I have seen "airflow balancer" in another member's must have mod list for 3rd gens and had a respected builder tell me of this phenomenon as well.

What's the problem with the lower intake manifold?

We're fighting a weird phenomena on a 13BT running an FD UIM, and I can't tune out these weird hesitations at around 2kRPM.  I keep swearing it's some weird intake resonance...
