Harness help
Hi have a 93 fd
It was an automatic and I did the full swap
And now I'm rewiring the harness. Also did a single turbo swap.
This is what I installed.. As far as harnesses
-93 firewall harness
-93 dash harness
-93 single turbo harness (emissions gone)
I looked up all the connector and wires pin by pin that are coming from the front engine harness on a (93 base manual
Schismatic..) And All the wires and connector are on the same location on the drivers side Automatic harness..
Like I said I went pin by pin and wire by wire. I also made some videos and took some pictures..
I can confirm that the front engine harness on a automatic is the same from the most parts...
If you need to videos contact me.
Now on the passenger side the same go's
(BUT) with a few exceptions
On the (((x-07 male connector there's a
(y)= yellow wire that's missing)))
And the ( x-05 blue connector---is different you guys already know that ) it has more wires and the connector is bigger then the manual one..
I'm trying to follow this auto to manual wire up
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/auto-manual-harness-conversion-222574/
But my (x-05 blue connector) this is the male one from the manual single turbo engine harness is missing
2 wires
B/L= black and blue- magnetic clutch a/p
B/G= black green- a/p magnetic clutch
So here's my question do I need those two wires??
Here are the connectors that are the same
Driver side
X-04 ✅.
X-06 ✅
Jb-14 ✅
Jb-06 ✅
X-08 ✅
X-10 ✅
J4-04 ✅
F1-01 ✅
Passenger side
X-13✅
X-14✅
Remember that I swapped out my dash and firewall harness so the x-07 (female) firewall harness checks out ✅
And my x-14 dash (female) and x-14 (male) single turbo engine harness both checked out ✅
The yellow ( B1-01 passenger side Ecu (2) connectors) I mite need to move 1 or 2 wires but everything was in its place
For the most parts
