All installations have compromises. You just have to make do with what you have to work with and the best of it. Looks like you did.

Another beautiful piece of work Sean. The exhaust runners are equal length? I couldn't make out if that was what you were saying or not. Also, how long are the runners?? Just curious.

Ralph, best of luck to you with the new kit. I'm sure that we'll have dyno numbers once it's up and running right?? Laterz.

The Main runners are equal length, it was the wastegate runners I was referring to as being unequal,I had no choice as of space limitations but could do it if someone didn't want ancillaries. The main runners come out just shy of 5" are just shy of 16" long , and are within 1mm, I would like to have gone to 20" as that has shown to be good, but was again restricted by the project car itself not the actual possibility of fitting it. please excuse any gramatical errors as I'm flying through this.

Rock on!! Thanx for the quick answer Sean. How long are the runners for the 40R mani?? I didn't know if they were about the same size or not. Also, what ancillaries are you talking about doing without?? As always, thanks in advance!

It was a double post that he had to edit. Hence the "blah" comment. Either that or double post the same info which really gets old since the server here always screws up. Laterz.

Let me know how it goes. This is my setup, but it's going to be a while before mine is up.

Looks beautifull (In both cases !). How do you find boost control with the twin Tial 38's mounted like that.

I have these gates currently and am figuring best way to mount them, I can see big positives in mounting this way (as in above pic) but am woried about heat effects on valve and secondary low boost control.

Any input much appreciated.

Peter

I would have liked to run twins also but again the customer supplied me with a single 60mm, I also was curious about low boost modulation and still may run a twin setup on my car to see how it behaves, it certainly isn't needed for anything on lower street type settings.

You are correct. I can't answer the boost question because I don't know. I'll find out as we go. We're doing some funky stuff on this car so it's all experimental. Hold your breath.

By the way, Marco's craftmanship is one of the best I've seen. He's a great guy to deal with. You just have to be patient and let him do his thing.

I have a gt42r setup and it works perfect for the street. Full boost first gear at 5500rpm
