GT4088 vs T62-1

what would the power difference at 15psi on a large streetport be between a GT4088 and a T62-1? any extra info would be great. thanks

(i'm referring to the GT4088 and T62-1 kits on www.rx7store.net if you need to know the specs)

Well from the looks of it the the turbines are nearly identical. The 62-1 has a smaller compressor. You should estimate the flow of your engine and then with desired pressure ratios pick the better compressor.

If you have AFR's and injector duties I have a corrected lbs/min calulator I can email you.

right now my FD is stock and sitting in the yard with a blown motor (sound familiar to everyone?) and it was my daily driver, but now i'm using my moms car (the Anti-Chrysler ). Basically, what it boils down to. I'm going to take out a fairly large loan and do most everything to my car all at once. I'm looking for about 400-450RWHP on 93 pump gas at 15psi. thanks.

you're looking at 20+hp for the gt40 at 15psi and an even greater difference at higher boost.

If you're looking for that much hp at that specific psi then you're considering the wrong turbos. The 62-1 will get you to the 400rwhp figure, but I don't think the GT40 will. Check out this thread for reference.
