Bond on this forum made a little over 380 on the 4088 on leading only. Thats around 420hp with trailing ignition.

I have a "custom" 4088. I have a .94 hot side as opposed to the .96 hot side it comes with standard. Originally it was a 4082 and I upgraded to the 88mm compressor wheel. It's a dry CHRA, oil only, and I'd love to convert it to wet dual BB. I've had no issues with oil temps running this setup but I have two Mocal 25-row coolers and an extra special, secret sauce cooling system. If I remember, I made 390ish on the 4082. Car is currently in pieces going through some changes so no recent numbers. They should be right around 500rwhp at 20-22psi, pump.

Back from the dead.... not really.

Just who is searching this thread, I went for the TO4R.

Buyers Beware!!! carefull where you do your purchases. Search well for fraudulent claims and prices from people offering 'good' deals. They may not always be real.

just 02c of advice.

Thanks.

That's why I purchase all of my stuff from Sean and A-spec. You get what you pay for

You should elaborate a bit more on your circumstances.

All I can say is wow after reading that. I've lost a lot of respect for more than a few forum members. Tough cookie to chew there signofinfinity. I'm sort of going through something similar now so I can relate. I have a friend from Malta btw...lives here in SW Florida.

Looks like we have pretty similar turbos . I got a GT4088 from A-spec, but with a machined out 0.94 (GT4082) exhaust housing. Havn't dyno'd it yet though.

You can . Talk to Sean at A-Spec. He'll should be able to put a different sized housing on there than what's offered by Garrett.

Hey guys, i have a GT4088 on my car it has a 1.34 A/R hot side, i am on a run in tune at the moment, so i have a 4K limiter, but in third gear it starts making boost at 2200, and has full boost only 11psi buy 3500, even in 1st gear it makes 5-6 psi before the 4 grand limiter, the motor is a S5 13bt is clearanced, dowelled, SCR race port ( i think its just a lardge extend) modded oil galleries etc, i will post up a pic of the dyno sheet when it gets tuned, at the moment it has hardly ne timing and is running relitavly rich, so i think it may even come on boost earlier
