GT35r t4 Turbo KIT?????????

hey guys so i have been doing some research and kinda fell on getting a GT35r kit from a-spectuning. i was really jw if any of you have had anywork done there? do they do a good job? and if you guys have any better options? im not looking to spend over five or six and thats including spending on haltech e6k intercooler and injectors. the kit runs about 4900 plus install. what do you guys think?

im not really looking to push anymore than 450rwhp i just want to be able to beat all the ricers and mustangs that talk alot.

hear is some info on the set up
We believe this is the best street/strip turbo kit fro your Mazda RX-7 . It spools up quite fast while able to flow on the top end. 435rwhp@16psi can be achieved with moderate A/F's turn up the boost more and will give get tremendous gains while be very streetable! This turbo kit has a weight savings of over 25 pounds. Our dual wastegate runners are evenly placed on the main manifold runners for great wastegate response.

A ported engine is not needed as this turbo works well with a stock engine. Ported engines can yield higher HP figures. All of our stainless Tubular manfiolds and stainless downpipes are hand crafted! Kit includes Garrett GT Series Dual Ball bearing Turbo, Stainless Manifold, V-banded Downpipe, Tial Wastegate, all lines, fittings, hardware and blockoff plates. We also carry packages that include the necessary fuel injection parts to supplement this turbo kit.

Only an intake left!

Our turbo kits are sold directly from us, no matter what any "Store" might say. Our kits are not the same as any of our competitor's "store". We believe our turbo kit product sells itself in terms of quality and price with numerous happy customers. Please spend the time and look carefully on what our kit delivers to you, and compare it to any of our competitors.

We hand make our turbo kits for you,we dont use cheap "Ebay" manifolds. We understand the requirements needed for a long lasting product for your rotary.

...and don't forget, all manifolds and downpipes come with a lifetime warranty!

I just got my gt35r t4 kit in. I'm excited. I went with a streetport so I hope to see around 420 at 15 psi...hopefully. The car wont be complete for about another month so I can't really tell you any personal experience. And honestly I don't know what you are wanting to know by your thread.

I'll give you a push and say, yes go get your work done there. I think what you are asking, is if aspec is a quality shop. I personally have not done any work there, but I have heard nothing but good things about them. Stand up shop.

6k? good luck
4.9k for the turbo
1k for the haltech
.5k for the ic setup
already at 5.4k and you have not touched your fuel system. Also, you have not budgeted in some tuning time. A new turbo is worthless unless you get a good tune. heel you havent even had teh haltech or ic installed yet. rethink your budget.

There is a price discrepency here.... Kit price for a 35R T4 is $3499 not $4900 not sure where that price came from. We are close enough you should come by and see the place. While not super close it is a big investment on your part and worth the time to come down. If weekdays are a issue I can be sure to meet you here on the weekend if your willing to take the drive. I'll show you around go over everything from top to bottem on what would be involved and I guarantee you'll leave feeling like all you answers have been addressed.

Can it do it yes, with the T4 divided housings we offer. Efficiently? Not really your pushing the compressor quite a bit on a SP motor to get that power number. That is when you start to look at the 500R.

I'm looking for a GT35R with T4 divided housing with 3" V-band outlet at approx. 0.82 A/R. Do you offer this? Is it in stock? How much?

400 RWHP on a street ported Cosmo engine. Short divided exhaust manifold. 3" exhaust.

I already made 420 RWHP with my journal bearing 60-1, but it didn't make boost on the dyno pulls until around 5500 RPM. I want something that will spool quicker.

I'm also looking at the t4 divided gt35r and the 500r. My goals are around 425 hp on stock ports. I've got all the supporting mods you can think of. I want quick spool because I autocross and I also want decent power because I do a little drag racing too.

What hotside would you recommend to get me what I want?

I've been told that a gt35r would spool by 3200 rpm on a 13bREW, is that true?

What kind of power can I expect with that turbo and appropriate hotside on stock ports and 93 octane?

Thanks in advance.

What a/r on the hotside? That sounds very promising. That's exactly what I'm looking for. Maybe run 17 - 18 lbs for drag racing applications too.

.82

For street, i believe the aspec GT35R (.82 A/R) with long runner manifold at 15psi is THE best setup. Perfect power, ridiculously fast spoolup (under 3k), and great price.

I have a streetported engine with a T04R (1.00 A/R) and the lag is getting alittle old)... although for stop and go and street having no boost until 4k+ is actually nice.

Thanks for the info. Don't do a lot of stop and go driving with my FD, she's spoiled and only really goes out for fun runs and racing.

What's the difference in spool time and top end characteristics between the .82 and the 1.06? I hear a lot of people with different opinions, just thought I'd ask.

You also mentioned the long runner manifold. What's the difference between a long runner and short runner manifold performance wise?

I am running the GT35/40R and I am hitting full boost around 3000-3200 RPM. The turbo is crazy responsive but tends to break my tires loose all the way through third.
