I finally got my turbo after waiting, for a year. and a bit saving of course as well

Here's some pictures on the living room floor, and hopefully I'll get some time soon, and get it installed....

It's not divided, as of the turbo mount, if that's what you're looking for...

It comes with a Tial 46mm Wastegate that is fully plumbed back into the DP...

how come that still has the 35 backside on it? hard to see but it looks rectangle like the GT35 or GT30 backside not like a square T04 or GT40 backside..?

I'm curious why you asked? Is there a T4 backside available for the 35R available? I thought what's shown above is just the GT35/40 (GT35R) kit.

Beautiful!

I will hopefully be placing my order this week or next for the same thing! One question I do have: Is it a wet center section? Meaning coolant as well as oil?

Thanks!

Have fun!

Yeah just ordered mine a couple weeks ago. Was told it would be a couple more weeks till I get it. Can't wait till then, new motor going in and everything, should have it up and running in late feb if the turbo comes in mid feb.

Yeah I'm pretty excited, I made an appointment for install and tuning for 1'st or 2'nd week of Feb. It'll be interesting how it'll all work together, with my Street port, V-Mount, AEM Itgnition, and Aem ECU....

Once it runs, it'll be the fist time that this seven hasn't had a turbo, apex, transmission, or other problem since I bought it... after I wrecked my '94 . Hopefully it'll finally be the bat out of hell I got so fond of with the '94 and then some... I'm still far more cautious on the road then when I had My '94....

The installation of my GT35R kit from A-SPEC is almost completed.

Mine is being done with the air pump remaning in place and functional. It will pump air back to either my MP or cat (when it is there for emmissions testing).

I am waiting for my FMIC inlet neck to be rotated/moddfied as the turbo to IC pipe affects the final air pump adjustment which in turn affects my final air filter setup.

Since I am leaving for a long vacation next week, My writeup and photos of the install will not be publishe here until March.

I'm suprised, everybody seems to want to ceramic coat their DP etc... Did I miss out !?
I thought letting heat radiate is a good thing, as opposed to keeping it all bottled up...and won't that be hard on your Midpipe / Cat if you push all that heat on untill them !?

Also isn't there less heat involved with a single as opposed to the twins !?

yes and no... you want heat to radiate but not right when it comes out of the turbo to fill in your engine bay. and the stock twins create more heat than a single but the cat play's a huge role in that aswell... but generally, most people get rid of their cat and go with a midpipe when they go single anyway so it all works together...

btw, good luck on the install!! i hope you finish with your boost issues finally! and if you need any help on the install, pm me and i will give you a hand! or is a shop installing it?
