Ok im really close to ordering a gt30r for my car...i have a 89 rx-7. i was just wondering will it fit with a HKS manifold abd clear the wheel well? and as anyone had any experience with this turbo and how it performs???

 

Really too small for a 13B, and the "GT30" part implies it's a T3 turbine footprint.
No, it will not fit an HKS turbo exhaust manifold.

I would have to agree with Ted, too small. Any reason you chose the 30R in particular? I would say there are better option available.

no real reason i chose a 30r. If you say its too small what kind of turbo would you go with to get 400 hourse to the wheels? t-66???

 

gt35r will get you there. do a search. Dont know of any shop that makes one for FCs but they are a very very popular turbo for both fc and fd. It sounds like you are peicing together a turbo kit so i would go with the gt35r. I have no clue what so ever if it will work with your hks manifold but i know you can do a search and find out.

Depends on price point, I have Non BB and BB centre sections it's up to you. Either way the 400 will be easy. How much are you looking to spend? ANd I do have 35R kits for FC's

Whole kit for 35RT4-FC including stainless equal length tapered manifold, stainless Dp, Tial 44mm gate plus lines and fittings, gaskets etc. Or just turbo Pricing for both PM'd.
