That's AUS dollars, not U.S. I am down for this right now. I would like to be able to datalog and the fjo kit looks good to me.
I also emailed Steve, he seems like I nice guy and offers support for the FJO units.
Lets do it!

1,695.00 AUD = 960.013 USD

Datalogging is a must for me also.

Jim,

Thanks for all the work you are doing to get this GB going.

If we can get the PLM for under $900 US for a GB, I'm in. Rice, what about a price for the ADL with the lambda option?

Jim, Yeah My price would be around $930 US, I can check to see if I would get it cheaper in a quantity of 10 or more....

I am still waiting to see which I will get, I am considering the Autronic units as they interface with my ECU to do auto tuning 0-1v corrected output, they also have a 0-5v for data logging.

The thing which is holding me back is that I have herd a VERY STRONG rumor that Autronic are bringing out a new unit that will be the same price as the motec PLM but with aditional inputs like the FJO unit & it will have all the features I want (ecu compatability)

It is a hard choice, I am going to wait untill the NEW Autronic unit comes out before I make my decission

No problem. I'd like to see what Motec has to say. If they could provide datalogging and good pricing I'm interested.

The FJO is a great fall-back... like I said many people are very pleased with it.

I'll post as soon as I hear back from them.

Jim I also would like to thank you for all the leg work you did. If we go with the FJO what's the best way to get a hold of Steve? Does anybody know how this system hooks up to different standlones? I know my Wolf 4.0 has only one input wire.

Okay,

I just got off the phone with Motec and here's the deal. NO DATALOGGING!!!!

They said that I'm definetly NOT the first person to ask for it... but they only offer it with their datalogging system which is big bucks. So.... we're back to the FJO.

If there are any other options out there let me know. I know nothing about the Autronic unit the Peter spoke of... Peter can you give us some info about that product?

If this is what everyone wants... we need to round up as many people as we can to try to get the cost down as far as possible.

Here's a list of those who seemed interested... but I'll need a list of definites.

Me
Ultimate RX7
beyondlimitz
machinehead
Boostd7
Ramon???
Mr. Stock
Moespeed???
Driftin180sx???

That's only 9 people... and some of these guys seemed unsure if they wanted one or not. So get the word out and lets get more people.

I would think that maybe we should give it a few days (maybe a week) to try and round up more people.

Someone asked about pricing for the ADL with Lamda option... the ADL is about a $3k item... so I have a feeling it 's going to break the bank.

I'll check with Steve about running it to the Wolf unit.

Sorry guys, I waited but it looked like this was going to take too long... and really its a $35 savings, not worth blowing my engine.
I ordered mine today!
Steve Hayes is a good place to go if you want the FJO.

Steve Hayes is the guy, very nice and quick service. If not there I think there is a link to Alamomotorsports earlier in the thread. Steve was very helpful and he shipped to me FedEx 2 day for free!

Any more interest in a group buy?

If this doesn't fly, I'll go ahead and order one early this week.

this group buy is dying !!!!

maybe if we talk to Steve the few of us could still get a few $$$ off.

Here's his response when I asked him about the datalogging kit and green display, kit# KWB0141.

>>John,

That kit is normally $870 from me. I'm curious... What is the price on the group buy? Who is organizing it? I have recently offered to do group buys on that kit at $835 for 10 or more kits (mix-and-match). FWIW, in the year or so that I've been selling these kits, only 1 group buy has ever materialized (I did that one), yet I have been contacted by approximately 10 different people who were attempting to start group buys.

Sincerely,

Steve Hayes<<<

I'm interested and almost definite. I'd want the "KWB0150" configuration. PM me with final pricing and terms.

Is it really worth is for 35 bucks? i couldn't wait any longer and just ordered mine direct from Steve, arrived 2 days later. And its a good thing, I was running way too lean!!! Instead of saving 35 bucks I probably saved myself an engine rebuid... do the math and get one of these things now if you are doing your own tuning.

Anybody know what kind of sensor the FJO unit uses?
I was wondering if it was the Honda civic sensor.
