as always, what are your ultimate plans for the car.......street only,.......1/4 mile.........HPDE,........road race......etc.

The turbien is considered laggy by some people, but if you are strictly 1/4 mile then who cares? others will say the opposite (in comarison to a T-88) once again what are your plans for the car.?

The T78 will get you there with the supporting mods of course. I believe people (this includes me) are seeing 420+ on decent boost levels (mid teens or so). I assume you plan on porting as well. Yeah, some people might say that but it doesnt feel that way for me. kenn chan has a piont, what are you gonna use it for (mines my DD).

I used the T78 on both my RX-7's and really liked it, but these days there are better turbos out there that will spool quicker and make the same HP.

yea if you get it for a rediculously good price then use it. i love the greddy T78 as it's been super reliable and makes great power, but it's still old technology. most newer turbos of equivalent capability are cheaper and spool up faster.. but not by that much

Love my T78, great kit. It's a great turbo and unlike some of the "new technology" like ball bearing turbos it doesnt cost a fortune to rebuild.

The T04Z has been awesome for me! Plus it requires far less custom work to install than the 42R. I would say it's one of the best all around turbos out there right now. The 1.00a/r will hit like a ton of bricks.

At what boost pressure? You can wring 500hp out of a 35R or you can get there pretty easily with a 4294R(Check out delslows car 530whp@18psi I believe). A TO4Z is a great turbo as Jason said, as is a few others. A lot depends on what your trying to do with the car. The smaller the turbo the higher boost you will need to reach your goal. There is a whole lot that can effect power, both in delivery and amount.
