I've had a 3-row on my car and it's a great FMIC. The 4-row is 33% thicker than the 3-row. I love mine... but you really need to think about the airflow to the radiator by putting something that thick (5.5" I think) in front of your radiator.

My Sup doesn't have the heating issues your 7 does so it was a no brainer for me.

But performance wise I'd go with the 4-row...

Good luck!

Very true... the effects to the cooling system are very important.

However... testing that a buddy of mine did shows that the 4-row DOES drop the intake temp quicker once the car is moving (from a stoplight for example) and on extended long highway pulls.

Remember, on the FD the oil system does up to 40% of the cooling. Dual large Mocals will work wonder!

On an RX-7 - no way... In fact I had a large SMIC on my car. The Supra is another story.

have any of you all been to the turbonetics site and looked at the air to air intercooler section.. it tells you the size of the intercooler and how much flow and the kicker how much power it will support..... how accurate is that... if it is any where close that 944 intercooler will flow enough to make 600hp

Water temps are just as important as oil. They both cool different areas. If you are seeking such power, why not fabricate proper ducting for both?
