Is a greddy 2 row good enuf for 60-1?

Is a greddy 2 row intercooler 24v good for 400+ horsepower put out by a 60-1? Or do I need a 3 row?

I am running the Greddy FMIC on a 60-1. This is the new FC kit that greddy makes that is a 2 row.

I also have a friend that is running a 60-1 with the greddy kit and he dyno'ed at 435hp, so yes this intercooler is fine.

Now if you boost over 16lbs then its not the intercooler to get....then again that's not the turbo to get either. The 60-1 is most efficient when running below 14lbs I believe.

Depends which 2 row. The one designated for stock twins is a v-spec core while the one marked for single turbo is an r-spec core. The r-spec is designed for high boost, but I have a friend running 15 psi on a v-spec core with no noticable rise in intake temps.

Suds is talking about an FC though. I'm torn on that too, I don't know if I should go 2 core or 3.

I should be fine for the street at 15lbs, but not if your going to race with more boost. Your charge temps will go to high and detionation would be a lot more likely.

I would race with higher octane and water injection if i was running over 15psi. I have gone with the 2 row for the fc, running stock turbo until i get some cash

14psi on stock turbo's

A 2 row is fine on an FC or FD using a T60-1 turbo....Its okay on most turbos. Anything is better than the **** that comes on the FC or FD's.... I have a Spearco and I love that IC.... It flows like nothing else I've seen, but the Greddy units are awesome too.....
