Question Is this a good set-up?

I've been constantly contemplating how I'm gonna go single on my FD. I plan on making it my daily driver, but I want some serious power too. Well, here it goes:

-GReddy T-78 Single Kit
-GReddy Front Mount I/C
-Apexi Power FC w/ Commander
-850cc Pri. 1200cc Sec.
-Nippon Denso fuel pump
-SX FPR
-ACT clutch and flywheel
-GReddy Profec B
-KD Rotary rebuild with HD seals and street port

I already have mazdacomp rad. and I'm workin' on a second oil cooler. Thanks in advance!

What kinda hp levels could I expect. I want around 500hp, is that possible with 1200cc injectors?? I've heard the PFC has trouble with the 1600cc. I've considered Haltech, but I don't want to premix. HELP!

The PowerFC might not let you enter the 1600 cc value into the ECU, but I am pretty sure you could enter 1500 (what I think is the max) and go from there. The only reason the PowerFC needs the injector sizes is to ratio the primary and secondary injectors. I don't think that 100 cc would make that much of difference overall. I also think you will be fine because right about when the secondary injectors should kick in the turbo should be spooling up.

I would almost say that if you can get 1600 cc injectors to work then you don't need the primary upgrade. You will be approaching the need to run race gas at 500 HP -- but I think it is possible -- but if correctly you are near the limit . . . . anyone else want to comment?

I'm starting to lean toward Haltech E6K. I am planning on having water injection too. How hard is it to install the mechanical OMP from the TII onto an FD? That would eliminate the need to premix. What kind of power do you see on you're T-78 set up Poweraxel? I go to your MSN site all the time, great cars! Thanks.

I need a Haltech too so let's put a group buy together. The last one seems to have bombed.

questions on PFC Features

Just a couple of answers to questions raised here.
(sorry for dragging all these threads back to life)
PFC:
* throttle tip enrich/decay? - YES
* split timing maps for leading and trailing? - YES 20x20 grid for both IGL and IGT.
* barometric compensation? - Not that I know of - but has several other compensation settings such as water temp.
* Cell by cell input - New product FC-Datalogit allows for loading to from a laptop, with control of additional features - stock turbo transition points, fan settings... as well as full data logging and realtime viewing - as well as additional inputs for wideband and switches for controlling features like boost levels. Also access to base fuel maps.
* Larger injectors - FC-Datalogit gets over restrictions - so I hear - that the PFC commander had.

I'm not saying it's the right ECU, just answering some questions I saw raised here.
