Going Single Turbo, Feels Like I Missing Something

Cheap turbo.com Starter Kit
Turbo: Garrett TO4E
Wastegate: tail 38 mm
Intercooler: Pwr 24x6x3
price 1199.00

Manifold: xs engineering
Radiator: Koyo

I don't know what size injectors to go with, or the EMS. Because I heard that the PFC injector setting could only go to 1500cc and I know I will need to run 1600cc.

I missing somethings but what are they?

Bov but I'm taking a guess you're just not mentioning that, but as for the injectors, the PFC can be set to 1600 you just have to find someone that has the datalogit system, you just can't do it on the commander.
Also no mention of a downpipe from the turbo. I'm drawing a blank as well now.

I say go with a Microtech for the EMS, either I or Jason at the RX7 store can get it for you.
Looks like you need a fuel system of some sort, that's not listed, you will also need oil feed and drain lines made, some block off plates depending. IC piping. intake filter, and a few other odds and ends.

Ball bearing turbo = less oil lines, if any.
Intercooler piping, gaskets, Blow off valve (bov)

Lay off the beer son, it will still require a oil feed and return, as well as probably water lines as well.

Look at Sean with the attitude today!! I was wondering about that no oil line comment though. The only turbo in the world I know of that doesn't have any lines going to it are air bearing turbos and you won't see those on a car!!

Aerochargers have their own oil supply, IIRC. But the T04E isn't an Aerocharger.

Max, I wasn't talking about aerochargers. Talking about rapid expansion turbines. They use an air bearing. No oil or anything else. They really kick ***!! My planes use two of them.

Well what about ignition? An HKS twin power will do the job.

if going with single you need a pfc or haltech, anything else lower than that you shouldnt buy a single turbo.

you need also along with fuel upgrades and EMS, is drivetrain upgrades, im talking about axles, braces, clutch, etc.

also brackets for ic, and rad. couplers, brackets, etc.
also gauges to moniter everything.
also...turbo filter.

everything all depends on what you have in the engine bay. theres always going to be little things you are going to need. so expect to pay little more than you expect.

also good thread.

one quick question, how much does the t04e put down?
