Godzilla blow off valve too big?

Does anyone know if the Turbonetics Godzilla bov is usefule for street/race use? I am looking into getting one but I heard that they are not good to use unless you're running 15psi or more...however this was from an unreliable resource. Any info would help.

just change the spring out to what suits your need. it's like having the Greddy Type R bov, which i ran on my turbo 12a setup for a while with no problems. pretty quiet unless you are moving alot of air.

Ok cool....now that brings up another point which will expose my ignorance in the turbo world: How much spring pressure should I consider, is it similar to the wastegate (i.e. 7lb spring to run bost @ 7psi and up, etc.)?
