I was planning on running a gt 42r or a gt 45 last year i priced the gt45 for around 600 dollars now that i am ready to order all my parts to piece together my setup garrett turbo prices went through the roof.

The gt42r is 1800 dollars i was told they had 3 price increases,what gives?

This sucks how is everyone dealing with the prices I remember magnus wa selling a whole gt42 setup for 3500 dollars .

What other trbos fair well against the gt42 or gt 45 that is some what affordable ,and whats the lowest price that anyone has found on the garrett gt42 or gt45.thanks

 

I've never seen a GT45 for that cheap.

I've never seen magnus sell that complete kit for $3500, but hey maybe.

 

Marcos price is listed at $5k, that was with the old ball bearing option. I dont know if he lowered the price because he was having a hard time grabbing the ball bearing setups

 

That is what I remembered as well.
